Payments & Rates
We accept American Express, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. If you wish to pay by cash or check, please contact our reservation agents in advance for instructions. Room rates are subject to a sales and lodging tax of 12.5%. Rates are subject to change without notice. A 50% deposit is required for all reservations and the balance is due upon arrival. We require an active credit card to be kept on file.
Cancellations & Changes
Cancellations and changes to reservations are welcome without penalty more than 7 days in advance of the arrival date. If canceling within 7 days of the arrival date, 50% of the total stay will be forfeited.
Maximum occupancy is strictly enforced. Villa Porta, Villa Rosa, Villa Vista and Villa Alta have a maximum occupancy of 4. Villa Aqua has a maximum occupancy of 4, and Villa Grande has a maximum occupancy of 6. Pak ‘n Play travel cribs are provided upon request for an additional one-time fee of $25.
Check-in and check-out process
A registration email will be sent to you in advance of your arrival. The registration is completed online. We will then send you the arrival instructions with key codes to your email. There is no need to check-in at our office as you may have done previously. Check-in is available after 4:00 pm. If you are checking in after 7:00 pm or have special needs, let us know in advance. Check-out is at 10:00 am.
Your Villa is equipped with basic cleaning supplies for the occasional spill or accident. Please make sure to keep the house reasonably clean to avoid pests and critters that are common to South Florida. You are expected to leave the property without damage, dirty dishes, or undisposed garbage. Failure to do so will result in additional cleaning fees which will be charged to the credit card on file. Any excess damages incur additional fees.
A car is not necessary in Key West, as most attractions are within walking distance of our excellent location.
We offer limited parking for $20 nightly on a first-come, first-serve basis. In addition, there are several paid parking options near the hotel. Parking may be reserved when completing the registration prior to check-in.
All of the guest rooms and common areas at Rose Lane Villas are pet friendly. Please make our team aware if you plan to bring your pet with you. There is a one time $50 pet fee for the first animal and $25 for each additional animal companion. All pets must be leashed, housebroken, people-friendly, non-aggressive, and quiet. A dog crate is available upon request for a one-time fee of $10. Damages due to non-housebroken behavior will be charged to the credit card on file. We reserve the right to refuse service to guests with a disruptive dog with no refund on outstanding nights. Read more about our pet friendly Key West vacation rentals.
For the health and safety of all guests, smoking is not permitted inside the Villas or in the common pool area. Use of drugs is not allowed. Guests are welcome to smoke on their private porches and decks, with the exception of Villa Aqua and Villa Vista. If evidence of smoking, drug use or associated odors are found, a minimum fine of $200 will be charged to the credit card on file. Please dispose of cigarette butts properly.
We reserve the right to refuse accommodations including bachelor/ette parties and Spring Breakers. Should we refuse accommodations we do not offer refunds for deposit and outstanding nights.
No glass is allowed at the swimming pool. Guests may swim at your own risk. The pool is heated up to approximately 80 degrees. Management is not responsible for accidents or injury to guests or for loss of money or valuables of any kind.
We accept packages on behalf of our guests within 7 days of arrival. We require a signature receipt upon delivery. The package must be addressed to the name of the guest whose name is on the reservation. If the name does not match our reservation, we will refuse delivery for security purposes. There is a $10 handling fee per package under 25 pounds. Oversized packages may also be received but will incur additional fees.
As a Green Hotel, we recycle everything we can, use energy-efficient appliances and lighting, environmentally safe chemicals and eco-friendly bath and paper products. As part of our initiative, we replace guest room towels every other day and bedding every four days unless requested otherwise.
